Our official good-faith pledge ensuring 100% direct aid, strict zero organizer commission, verified beneficiary consent, and continuous financial transparency for every campaign on GazaConnect.
Who Must Sign: This Mutual-Aid Pledge ONLY needs to be signed by the campaign organizer / account owner located abroad (in Europe, North America, etc.) who runs a traditional crowdfunding campaign (such as GoFundMe, Chuffed, or LaunchGood) where donations pass through an external intermediary bank account.
Who Does NOT Need to Sign: Displaced families living in Gaza do NOT need to sign this document! Furthermore, if a family receives donations directly through Cryptocurrency (Solana / TRON), no third-party pledge is required because funds reach the family's personal digital wallet directly with zero intermediary organizers.
Gaza Connect exists exclusively for human-to-human solidarity. We strictly prohibit organizers from taking salaries, cuts, commissions, or percentages from donations. Every dollar belongs to the family in Gaza.
Section 11 requires written confirmation and contact details directly from the beneficiary in Gaza. This prevents unauthorized campaigns, impersonation, or third parties raising funds without the family's active consent.
Organizers agree to maintain transfer records, receipts, and banking confirmations, posting regular campaign updates with screenshots so donors and Gaza Connect know funds are arriving promptly.
Due to telecommunications blackouts and ongoing displacement across Gaza, organizers must provide a secondary backup contact to ensure communication is never permanently severed.
Trust is continuous. Gaza Connect periodically reviews campaigns and requires prompt incident reporting if banking holds or platform restrictions occur, protecting both organizers and families.
Organizers have the voluntary option to add a designated Gaza Connect team member as a platform co-organizer for enhanced transparency, continuity, and collaborative reach.
Standard Verification & Good-Faith Transparency Protocol
Gaza Connect exists to connect verified families from Gaza with people who want to support them. Our goal is to create a trusted space where supporters can feel confident that the families and fundraisers featured on our website have been verified, using a broad, collaborative approach to assist participating campaigns reach as many potential supporters as possible.
Transparency and trust are essential to this mission.
By signing below, I voluntarily agree to the following commitments as an organizer of a fundraiser featured by Gaza Connect. This agreement is intended as a statement of shared expectations and good-faith commitments and is not intended to create a legally binding contract.
I confirm that I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of:
Beneficiary:
I will not take a personal commission, percentage, salary, or other compensation from donations made to this fundraiser.
I understand that unavoidable third-party costs, such as payment-processing, banking, currency-conversion, or international transfer fees, may occur. I agree to be transparent with the beneficiary and Gaza Connect about significant fees deducted from funds intended for the beneficiary.
I commit to transferring funds collected through this fundraiser to the beneficiary named above, or to the beneficiary's agreed-upon recipient or transfer method, in a timely manner.
Expected transfer frequency:
If circumstances prevent me from transferring funds as expected, I will notify the beneficiary and Gaza Connect as soon as possible.
I will not redirect donations to another person, family, organization, or purpose without the beneficiary's knowledge and consent and notification to Gaza Connect.
I agree to maintain reasonable records showing that fundraiser proceeds have been transferred to or for the benefit of the beneficiary.
I understand that Gaza Connect may request reasonable documentation confirming transfers as part of its verification and transparency process.
Sensitive personal, financial, banking, or identification information may be redacted when it is not necessary for verification.
I commit to publishing an update to the fundraiser at least once every weeks.
Whenever reasonably possible, updates will include confirmation or screenshots showing recent transfers of fundraiser proceeds to the beneficiary.
Screenshots may have account numbers, addresses, phone numbers, transaction IDs, and other sensitive information redacted.
If circumstances make it unsafe or impractical to publicly post transfer documentation, I will communicate with Gaza Connect about an alternative method of verification.
To provide additional transparency and continuity, I understand that I may choose to add a designated Gaza Connect team member as a co-organizer or collaborator on the fundraiser when the fundraising platform permits it.
Choosing not to add a Gaza Connect team member as a co-organizer does not by itself disqualify a fundraiser from participating in Gaza Connect.
I will provide a trusted backup contact whom Gaza Connect may contact if repeated reasonable attempts by Gaza Connect or the beneficiary to reach me are unsuccessful.
I confirm that this person has agreed to serve as my backup contact and understands why their contact information is being provided.
The purpose of this contact is to help reestablish communication and help ensure that funds intended for the beneficiary reach them.
I agree to notify Gaza Connect as soon as reasonably possible if:
To the best of my knowledge, the information I provide to Gaza Connect about myself, the beneficiary, and the fundraiser is truthful and accurate.
I agree not to knowingly misrepresent the beneficiary's identity, circumstances, relationship to me, intended use of funds, or the amount of money transferred to them.
I understand that being listed on Gaza Connect involves ongoing trust and transparency, not just initial verification.
Gaza Connect may periodically request updated information or reasonable documentation to confirm that the fundraiser continues to benefit the verified beneficiary.
If Gaza Connect is unable to verify a fundraiser, cannot establish contact with the organizer, identifies a significant discrepancy, or reasonably believes these commitments are not being followed, Gaza Connect may temporarily pause or remove the fundraiser from the website while the issue is reviewed.
Removal from Gaza Connect does not itself constitute an accusation of fraud or wrongdoing.
I understand that Gaza Connect may need to collect certain information to verify organizers, beneficiaries, and transfers.
Gaza Connect and participating organizers should make reasonable efforts to protect sensitive information and avoid publicly sharing identification documents, financial account information, private contact information, or other information that could create a safety or privacy risk.
By signing below, I confirm that I have read and understand these expectations and voluntarily agree to follow them while my fundraiser is participating in Gaza Connect.
I understand that Gaza Connect's verification process is intended to increase transparency and trust but cannot guarantee the actions of every fundraiser, fundraising platform, financial institution, or third party.
This section should be completed by the beneficiary, or by an authorized representative of the beneficiary when necessary.
I confirm that I am the beneficiary, or an authorized representative of the beneficiary, of the fundraiser identified in this agreement.
I confirm that:
By signing below, I confirm that the information above is accurate to the best of my knowledge and that I authorize the fundraiser identified in this agreement to be promoted through Gaza Connect.
Once both the Organizer and Beneficiary sections are completed, submit the document to our verification review team to begin the verification onboarding process.
